Since its inception in 1960 by Kevan F. Hartwell Sr. and Stanley C. Alldritt, ECCO became a company with a vision and clearly defined goals. The mandate was emphasized every day to all employees, to make ECCO the best in sheet metal manufacturing and distribution of their products. From the very humble beginnings quality became an obsession and the same spirit exists to this very day. ECCO not only engages in sheet metal manufacturing and distribution, but also allied itself with hundreds of quality HVAC related manufacturers, with the objective of becoming a "one stop HVAC-R distributor". The ECCO organization was built on core values and everyone acknowledged that without those the company would not have succeeded and be where they are at today. Core means at the center and the values are the beliefs, in other words the defined goals were at the center of everyone in the company.
