Seasonal Garbage Bag Limits What: As per previous years, Waste & Recycling Services wants to remind residents that an "as-needed" five bag or can limit on the amount of garbage collected per household will be in effect for Spring. The five bag or can limit ensures a weekly collection service is provided to each household and maintains collection schedules. Keeping household garbage area clean and tidy also helps collectors move swiftly and efficiently through the routes. Residents are encouraged to convert their yard waste into useable compost with a backyard composter sales event in June. Citizens can also reduce their waste by depositing paper, cardboard, and other recyclables at a nearby community recycling depot.
