Each of our appraisers have significant experience in construction cost valuation, and have the expertise and experience to provide insurance appraisals for any type of property. We recognize that accurate valuations require an on-site inspection of the structures and amenities, and the utilization of construction plans. Our appraisers utilize the Marshall Valuation Service Cost Manual, which is used by a large number of construction, engineering, and architectural companies in Canada.

Dennis joined Wm. S. Jackson & Associates Ltd. in 1998, bringing more than 20 years of valuation experience to our team. Dennis specializes in residential properties of up to four units and has extensive experience in the valuation of Gulf Island properties. Dennis holds a CRA designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Our expertise goes well beyond real estate appraisals. We also help companies determine the feasibility of proposed construction or development projects, we advise municipal bodies on the probable effects of proposed actions and we provide reliable advice to businesses and individuals on a wide range of issues involving real estate holdings.

We provide accurate, timely and cost competitive residential and commercial appraisals within the Powell River area and commercial/ICI appraisals in the lower Sunshine Coast Regions of Gibsons and Sechelt.

Wm. S. Jackson & Associates Ltd. has extensive experience in the valuation of properties under the Ecological Gifts Program. We have completed valuations of a wide range of properties ranging from wetlands to forest lands, waterfront lands, agricultural properties and watershed areas throughout the Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast areas.
