The Voyageur Canoe Company Limited, formed in 1969 and located in Millbrook, Ontario, Canada, manufactures fourteen composite designs of fiberglass and kevlar composite reinforced plastic canoes, many of which are available in four different types of construction materials as well as the traditional Canadian cedar-plank canvas-covered canoes.

We also manufacture wooden paddles in both stock and custom shapes and our metal fabrication division produces a variety of custom products including a 26' Multipurpose Canoe Trailer.

From its beginnings in a small shop it now occupies more than 5,000 sq.ft. where mold making, laminate design, research and testing and manufacturing are done. As new reinforcingmaterials become available, Voyageur continues its tradition ofdeveloping and testing laminates to improve its products and create a better, stronger and more durable canoe for their discrimination customers worldwide.

During the late 70's, we acquired the Rice Lake Canoe
Company which brought with it a rich history of the Canadian
Canoe along with its traditional wooden designs. Around the same time, we also acquired the Pinetree Canoe company of
Orillia, Ontario, which was noted for producing the ultimatein Kevlar-epoxy lightweight canoes. As well as our listed designs, we also offer a custom service and our products are shipped world-wide. Repair and restoration of old canoes, both for the individual canoe owner and the insurance industry, is also part of the services we offer.

We are know from coast to coast for producing the largestreplica of a fur-trade style canoe - 36' in length. Our qualitycraftsmanship and detailed construction have brought us to the attention of a number of architectural designers, engineeringfirms and other industries that require custom composite products made of metal or reinforced plastic and during recentyears we have expanded to serve these needs as well as to doinstallations and repairs on location.
