She has been in the field of counselling, coaching and education most of her life. Her background consists of some of the following * Adlerian Parenting Techniques and Process orientated techniques while she lived in Los Angles and studied personal growth while starting a family * twenty years of work with 12 step programs * ten years with BC families and Transition, facilitating children's groups and adult groups regarding transitions in their families eg. Divorce and Separation * Fifteen years with Victoria School District educating, counselling and consulting in elementary schools * Background studies in Separation and Divorce Grief and Loss Trauma-somatic body work Family therapy Personal Growth Work Process Orientated Work Anxiety Self Esteem Transitions Helen believes that " having support to be witnessed provides a powerful experience for the client".
