NWCC is the business arm of the NWLC. It is an incorporated for-profit company under the Business Corporations Act of the NWT. The company was established to develop and participate in economic activity on behalf of the Norman Wells Land Corporation. The NWCC has over $1.2 million in assets, as well as shareholder investments and join venture arrangements with several companies.

The SRRB is a regional co-management board, thereby representing beneficiaries as well as non-beneficiaries and the non-aboriginal population of the Sahtú Settlement Area. The SRRB, with equal representation from communities and territorial/federal government agencies, is dedicated to protecting, conserving, and managing all renewable resources in the Sahtú.
