Green Croft Gardens is a certified organic farm since 1988 and located on 20 fertile acres along the Shuswap River in Grindrod. When we developed our farm we pioneered in the organic field with a vision of developing a vegetable box subscription program. At that time public conscience was just in its baby shoes and we diversified our farm crops with growing bedding plants in our three greenhouses, importing the first spelt grain into the Okanagan and growing this crop. We developed a grain cleaning facility after the Pea Growers in Armstrong closed its doors. This project is now carried out by the Organic Milling Co-op in Armstrong, BC. After that we operated a retail greenhouse in Enderby for two years. We now grow and sell our certified organic bedding plants only from our greenhouses at the farm.
