Dawn has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and received her Certification in Orthotics in 1986 and has extensive experience in both paediatric and adult orthotic needs. Dawn started Custom Orthotics of London in 1987, providing service in Southwestern Ontario. Ms MacArthur Turner has been a guest lecturer for UWO’s physiotherapy program for over 15 years and has acted as an examiner for the C.B.C.P.O’s National Certification exam. In addition, Dawn has acted as President of the Ontario Association for Prosthetists and Orthotists.

The objective of the Assistive Devices Program is to provide consumer-centered support and funding to Ontario residents who have long-term physical challenges and to provide access to personalized assistive devices appropriate for the individual’s daily living needs.

Custom Orthotics of London specializes in both paediatrics and adult populations. A wide range of services including lower extremity, upper extremity and spinal orthotic care. In addition, we specialize in paediatric cranial remoulding helmets for plagiocephaly.

Custom Orthotics of London was founded in 1987. A private orthotic practice helping both children and adults in Southwestern Ontario with physical challenges. Custom Orthotics of London is owned and operated by Dawn MacArthur-Turner BSc C.O(c). Growing up watching the challenges her grandfather, a quadriplegic, experienced fostered a desire to help individuals overcome their challenges.
