TRU-CUT Sharpening is a full service saw blade repair and sharpening center. As customer satisfaction is of utmost importance, we strive to provide our clients with the highest quality and best service available.

The Canadian Plywood Association and affiliated CertiWood Technical Centre, originally founded in 1950 as the Plywood Manufacturers’ Association of BC (PMBC), will cease operations on July 31, 2014. Operating for over sixty years as a not-for-profit industry trade association, the association has long served Canadian industry by providing third party testing and global certification, product and standards development, and diverse programs for product promotion and market support.

CANPLY/CertiWood services have consistently contributed to a strong and healthy environment for Canadian plywood manufacturers, an important sector of the Canadian wood products industry with an annual production level of approximately 2.0 billion square feet (3/8" basis). Although CANPLY/CertiWood operations are ceasing, Canadian plywood manufacturers remain committed to maintaining high quality products in the future via certification programs offered by alternate service providers as of August 2014.

Product development is a large part of our business. We are always working on new and improved ways of improving running time of our customers tools, and the best applications for the task. Our innovative team has designed many new products for specific applications which can save our customers time and money. As well as our complete repair and sharpening service, we offer several lines of woodworking cutting tools.

CertiWood operates a laboratory based in North Vancouver BC, Canada and has been serving Engineered Wood Product manufacturers for over 60 years.
