Merle has diversified experience in construction documentation, design, as well as project management. His greatest assets are his knowledge in building components and his ability to lead a team in a disciplined and organized manner in order to complete projects and deadlines. Merle has demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication to his chosen career path with the numerous large and small projects he has successfully managed and team directed. Merle has had involvement in significant hospital, hotel, educational and justice projects. He has won awards for construction documents and managed the construction for Platinum LEED projects as well as leading a team in the documentation of a $325,000,000 Provincial court building in Calgary, Alberta, and the $225,000,000 Taylor Family Digital Library at the University of Calgary.

Merle carries these strong traits to his personal life, working with his community association, working with youth and various charities. He is a “nuts and bolts” type of guy who likes to look at the practical aspect of every project.
