Shaun Visser has for over 18 years, carried out the detailed designs for the majority of the community and recreation work done by the firm. His expertise in programming, facility studies, project planning, and team coordination provides our project team with an enhanced capability and an expertise in ensuring a cooperative and highly interactive relationship with our client teams.

Derek has over 18 years of experience in the field of architecture in the development a variety of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects. As a senior member of our project team, Derek’s extensive experience in project management, administration, project coordination, detail development and AutoCAD proves invaluable to the successful evolution of our firm’s projects. Derek’s technical and computerization expertise has also allowed him to forge new standards of excellence for production of documentation for the firm.

BR2 Architecture (formerly Barr Ryder Architects & Interior Designers) have operated for over 30 years as a full service architectural practice in Edmonton, Alberta. The firm offers architectural and in-house interior design services throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Northern Canada.

Steven provides extensive architectural and interior design experience within a broad project base including institutional, educational, commercial, industrial, community and hospitality projects. As well, he has developed specialty skills to provide feasibility study, programming, facility design and other specialty services. Steven’s management capabilities include significant experience in a full range of project delivery methodologies.

The firm has become one of Alberta’s leading architectural practices, providing qualitative architectural services for a wide variety of project types and sizes.
