Kevin joined us as our Service Manager at the Bluenose Service Center in 2010. He loves anything car related, bringing 10 years of valuable experience in the automobile service industry, with 5 of them spent at Volkswagen. In 1997, Al met Bea on the car lot and the pair connected immediately. They opened Bluenose Motor Company in 2003 and have proven themselves as strong partners, working together to provide consistent quality and service to their clients. Al and Bea accomplish this task by providing only top quality pre-owned vehicles and extending small-town hospitality to each person who walks onto the Bluenose lot.

It's not his quirky British charm (although it doesn't hurt) that makes Steve such an integral part of the Bluenose Motor Company, but rather his experience in all aspects of the business. Steve is an electrical/mechanical engineer who raced rally cars for his own team in the UK prior to arriving on beautiful Vancouver Island 3 years ago. Steve began his Bluenose career in our Detailing Shop and Service Centre, later spending time at the Sales Office to learn how the other side does things. Steve has an encyclopedic knowledge of cars, bringing out their best with first rate cosmetic repairs, exterior finish jobs and interior detailing.

Sales Manager Ryan Madson brings visible enthusiasm and a flair for ensuring customer satisfaction at Bluenose. He draws on 10 years of experience in car sales with Laird Wheaton in Nanaimo and his love of driving, touring cars and trucks. Ryan's approachable, collaborative style engages customers in the selection process. He believes a satisfied buyer becomes a long term customer who will refer friends and family to also enjoy the Bluenose experience. Ryan has forestry training in addition to management and greatly appreciates the island environment as an avid outdoorsman.
