At the Whitewater BC Ski Resort Adventure Centre we love to share our passion and knowledge of mountain culture. Whether you are downhill ski ing, snowboarding, telemarking, cross country ski ing, or heading off into the BC backcountry, our committed, professionally trained Snow School and Snow Safety instructors team together to offer a full range of lesson programs designed to provide you with an exceptional Whitewater experience.

We carry a wide selection of mid-layers and base-layers to keep you warm and dry while you spend your day in knee deep powder. We also feature top of the line helmets and goggles from Smith Optics and whether you're skiing in or out of bounds we carry a full line of snow safety equipment.

Mission Statement To raise awareness and educate youth in decisions making about backcountry travel and avalanche safety by providing age appropriate courses in the West Kootenay region. About AABBS is a non-profit society founded in the spring of 2009 by a group of Nelson ski industry and business professionals concerned about the increasing numbers of teens venturing out into the back country without any avalanche and/or mountain safety training.
