Prior to joining Skyline, Ibrahim worked for AVIDA Corporation, a global leader in providing full service in-store marketing and communications systems. He was also responsible for maintaining the critical servers that Sony PlayStation relied on.

Matthias Schlaepfer has considerable professional experience in the development of master planned communities, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. Most recently, he was Vice President, Planning and Development, for a real estate development company engaged primarily in the United States. Earlier in his career, he worked as an architect and planning consultant in Zurich, London, Paris, and Toronto. Matthias holds a Master of Science in architecture from the ETH Zurich and is both a licensed architect and a registered professional planner in Ontario.

Gil Blutrich , Ernst and Young’s 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year, is the founder of Skyline International. With a background in both the real estate and the hospitality industries, Gil saw an opportunity in 1998 to invest in the Canadian extended-corporate-stay market, then under-serviced, by building a condominium portfolio owned by Skyline and other investors and managed by Skyline. This strategy paid off and by early 2001, Skyline had several hundred condominiums under contract and a burgeoning executive-stay business.
