Sager was established in 1983 by Santo Fata Sr. as a packager of vegetable oil products primarily for grocery chains and foodservice distributors. In the early 1980s, Canadian grocery chains began introducing private label products in their own stores to compete with the established national brands. Sager was among the first suppliers to this market segment which has and continues to grow at a strong rate. Many of our client relationships date back many years and we are very proud to have the privilege of serving Canada's leading grocery chains.
