Pierre Julien, is the founder and president of Zim-ex inc., a consulting company specializing in the international trade of agri-food products. Zim-ex mission is to help Canadian enterprises develop their international market. Zim-ex provides clients with international market information regarding all aspects of international trade and looks actively to find foreign buyers for their products.
Zim-ex inc. has established a strong business networking worldwide and distribute raw materials imported from Asia and Europe, namely:
1) Feed Additives (Protein concentrates, Minerals, vitamins, flavours, etc);
2) Microbeads for road marking;
3) Cocopeat, coconut fiber for vegetable growers;
4) Building Materials;
5) Packing materials (plastic bags, paper bags);
6) Food (Pastas, vegetable oils);

We deal directly with the mills, refineries and manufacturers. Our mission is to provide the best quality products at very competitive prices, giving the best valued to meet our clients desired specifications.

We have a close and excellent working relationship with several large volume suppliers to bring our clients the best possible pricing and availability.

Mr. Julien is the founder and former president of the chain of restaurants, La Bouchée Double, which was established in Quebec city in 1978.
Mr. Julien holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the
Université Laval in Quebec.
