The company commenced operations under the name B.C. Gearworks
Ltd. And became quickly known in the industry as a supplier of precision gears and machine components. After the introduction of the first PULLMASTER winch the company became a leader in the development and production of planetary hydraulic winches and planetary hydraulic drives. In 1980 B.C. Gearworks Ltd. became the PULLMASTER Winch Corporation. In the meantime PULLMASTER products have become autonomous with quality and dependability and today PULLMASTER planetary winches and back-up service are available through a world wide network of authorized distributors.

The success of the company is due to a policy founded on two basic principles. One is the use of only top quality materials in production and reliance on the finest engineering and production techniques. The other is response to individual customer requirements. 1,100 lb. to 50,000 lb. (4.9 - 222.4 kN). The "Planematic" range of hydraulic planetary drives provide an output torque range of
50,000 - 136,000 lb - in (5649-15.367 Nm). Both hydraulic planetary winches and drives are available with a comprehensive range of options.
