You can start the process by contacting either a Collaborative Lawyer or Divorce Coach. And you can add other professionals to your team, such as a Child Specialist or Financial Advisor, as your lawyer or Coach advises, and as you decide what will help you most. The Collaborative Association is an association of Collaborative Lawyers, Divorce Coaches, Child Specialists, and Financial Advisors, who are specially trained in Collaborative Law and Family Law Mediation. You and your spouse can work with any of the lawyers on this website, provided both of the lawyers you choose are from separate firms. Lawyers from the same firm cannot represent both parties.
