Ron has lived in the Central Saanich Community for over 20 years and has been a loyal supporter of Peninsula Co-op since 1982. He recently retired as the Chief Constable of the Oak Bay Police Department having worked in law enforcement for 39 years.

Cathy is Principal of Strategic Initiatives Inc., a market research firm serving leading businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Western Canada. A senior executive with over 25 years of business experience and 15 years of board experience, Cathy began her career as a marketing and communications professional. Her background includes marketing management, sales management, advertising and communications, as well as market research.

Peninsula Co-op was founded in 1977 and is unique in the sense that it is member owned by people who live in the community, rather than a specific individual or by a larger company based in another part of the world. This allows us to focus on serving our members, customers and the local community, rather than short-term profits.
