Parkway Physiotherapy partners with the University of Calgary as one of a handful of clinics in North America and the United Kingdom to provide three-dimensional gait analysis, a valuable service to runners. We have now created the world’s largest database of running injury research and are able to provide runners with an accurate analysis of their running mechanics.

We provide hands on care and rely very little on machines unless they are absolutely required. Our care can include spinal and joint manipulation when it is safe and effective to do so.

Her special interests are in gait analysis for runners, plantar fascia and metatarsal pain, cervicogenic headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and treating all forms of sprains/strains of the body. She has worked with a variety of international class sports teams including hurling and rugby in Ireland, Canada Games soccer teams, national rowers, motocross and mixed martial arts athletes.

Krista has a degree in both Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto and in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. She is certified in acupuncture and in Intramuscular Stimulation and is a resident of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists. Krista's training allows her to offer her clients a wide range of treatment options to thelp them through their recovery. She uses a combination of manual/manipulative therapy, exercise prescription, IMS and acupuncture to help clients reach their potential.

Robyn Horner is a member with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia as well as the Massage Therapists association of British Columbia. Robyn’s focus of practice as a Massage Therapist is deep tissue massage and myofascial release. She has worked with a variety of patients ranging from competitive athletes to geriatrics.
