Description
Recent trends and innovations, especially in the Mobile world, have set customers' and consumers' expectations very high. But with product and solution delivery increasingly requiring the mastering of techniques and technologies spanning several platforms and abstraction layers, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and understaffed.
First, we believe that the value of a class is derived from providing instructors recognised as leading experts in their field, not the courseware. Our instructors are not only recognised for their technical achievements, but they are active public speakers at international conferences and forums with an exceptional ability and passion for sharing their knowledge.
Opersys specializes in Android and Embedded Linux, delivering a very targeted set of training and development offerings to its customer base. Our services are tailored with a keen eye towards development teams' most precious assets: time and resources. It's our mission to maximize our customers' ability to deliver outstanding products on time and on budget.
Opersys was founded in 1999 by Karim J. Yaghmour who pioneered the world of Linux tracing with the introduction of the Linux Trace Toolkit in the late 90's and later went on to write O'Reilly's seminal Building Embedded Linux Systems , which sold several tens of thousands of copies world-wide and has become a de-facto reference for embedded Linux developers. Karim's current work on O'Reilly's Embedded Android is already available in Early Release.
" I have experience in embedded Linux and Android applications. This class charts a path between them. " -- M.S.
