ORTHOSHOP Geomatics possesses the widest range of state of the art equipment and is able to provide the most complete range of photogrammetric services. Our investment in industry-best equipment and software, combined with our focus on continuous training and education, equips our staff to produce the best products in the market.

Flight operations consist of a Cessna 310P aircraft, RC30 aerial camera, Track’Air flight management system, NovAtel OEM3 and OEM4 dual frequency GPS receivers and an Applanix 510 IMU system. The GPS and IMU equipment collects 0.5 second satellite data during the flight and high precision rotation angle data from which, with post processing, we obtain precise XYZ coordinates for each photograph center and also the 3 rotation angles for each photograph. This greatly enhances the precision of the airborne positional solution. In certain cases the availability of this data reduces the need for ground survey control significantly, sometimes eliminating it altogether.

ORTHOSHOP Geomatics has the production capacity to handle large projects and to shift resources when required to maintain schedules. We are singularly dedicated to the field of geomatics and do all of our processing from our Canadian office.
