Nor-Alta Environmental Services Ltd. was established in 1983, initially specializing in drilling waste management, and later expanding into remediation and reclamation for the energy sector. Nor-Alta is currently looking for experienced, qualified and motivated Field Technicians. The successful applicants will be responsible for working with our clients on a variety of drilling waste management projects, as well as compiling disposal reports, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and potential clients. Environmental Technicians are expected to diligently represent Nor-Alta with clients, landowners, regulators and the community.
Nor-Alta is currently looking for an Environmental Scientist with 2+ years of experience working as an environmental scientist/consultant for oil and gas industry in Western Canada. The successful applicant will have some degree of experience conducting Phase I, II, III ESA's, Reclamation Assessments, Groundwater Monitoring, etc., and have a sound knowledge and understanding of the applicable regulations and criteria. Strong verbal and written communication skills will be required. Professional accreditation or the ability to become accredited in the future will also be required.
