Micah Dew is a professional mixologist from Vancouver with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has been showcased in film and on TV both nationally and internationally for his bartending skills. While Micah is recognized as an engaging and entertaining speaker, he has also been known to mix it up on the competition stage. Entering and winning cocktail, and flair bartending competitions locally and internationally.

Our flair seminar instructor is Micah Dew, a world ranked competition flair bartender who has been teaching flair, and competing in flair competitions worldwide for over 10 years. Micah has been featured on TV shows like Rachel Ray, Dragons den, and Urban Rush.

Every instructor at Metropolitan has many years of bartending experience in several different types of establishments. Having a broad range of bartending experience (pubs, fine dining restaurants, nightclubs etc…) allows our instructors to train students to succeed in any type of environment. Through his experience designing so many cocktail lists throughout the city, Taylor noticed today’s bars want to serve several unique fresh cocktail creations, but hand crafting each drink is too time consuming for the average high volume establishment. To help bars deliver top quality fresh and unique cocktails in a timely manner, Taylor has developed a growing side business.
