Alex Gostevskikh MSc MBA, is a geologist with over 20 years of experience in international mining and exploration for such commodities as gold, silver, and non-ferrous and base metals. He has extensive corporate experience through his involvement with a number of listed companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") and the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") markets. Mr. Gostevskikh is currently the Managing Director of Uranium Resources PLC, a company listed on the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM") in London, who is exploring mineralization in Tanzania.

In 1995 the Albanian government adopted a law to privatize the mining industry. Administrative preparation began in 1996 and to date the government continues to grant exploration concessions to international companies and individuals. Albania, with a total area of 28,000km2, has been a producer of copper and nickel since the 1930s. After WW2, Communist state-run initiatives to mine became a priority. From the late 1970s to the 1990s, Albania was one of the world’s greatest exporters of chromite.

The Turkish word K?z?lda? translates as Red Mountain and is the new name by which the company's properties on the north-west side of the Coruh River will be known. The Red Mountain Project consists of three main exploration areas ( Çorak , Taç and Çevreli ). Mediterranean is actively working on its two 100% owned properties that saw more then US$4 million of development by Teck Cominco during the 1990's. These properties are called Taç and Çorak.
