When we are connected to our selves we move through life with fluidity; we move to our own rhythm and are connected to who we are and what is meaningful to us in the world. Often, we are disconnected from this knowing and way of being. In my work, I support people to: uncover their story of hope, of resilience, of triumph; re-discover and move to their own rhythm; align with who they are and what is important to them in the world; and engage with life in new and more authentic ways. When people uncover a new or counter story of their life, who they are, how they see themselves, and how they engage with others and the world around them shifts. When people move to their own rhythm and live in connection with who they are and what is important to them, they live with a fluidity that helps them navigate the difficult times inherent in everyday living. When we align with our authentic self and become more fluid we are more resilient and better able to negotiate life events. It is through connection to ourselves, others and the world that we have deeper, more intimate experiences of belonging, fulfillment and safety. On a more personal note, I am passionate about my work, I aspire to engage with life as deeply as possible in each moment, and I am inspired by nature. I am a social activist, a life-long learner, enjoy gardening and creative endeavours, and like to have fun. I value freedom, authenticity, equality, co-creation, connection, community and our planet. I live with my partner and cat in James Bay, Victoria, BC.
