I am a registered Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years experience working with individuals and families - helping clients to resolve the unpleasant symptoms caused by life's challenges and helping individuals and families to heal and strengthen their personal relationships. I have Bachelor Degree in Social Work, a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Doctorate Degree in Mental Health Counselling. As well as working with clients, I provide training world wide on the long term impact of early childhood neglect and abuse and I am the author of three professional books "Recognizing and Managing Fetal Alcohol Effects/Syndrome" and " Parenting Your Adopted Older Child " and "Help - I've Been Adopted". I also provide online and phone counselling world wide. In my home life - I am the mother of a large family and I live on an acreage where I have dogs, chickens, and a big garden. ~ I never thought I would be able to fix my relationship with my parents but after we all attended several sessions with Brenda, we are talking again and have created a whole new way of relating to each other.
