That’s what our family learned from the BC Schizophrenia Society. “BCSS guided our sister through the mental health system by providing practical advice about where to go and who to see to get her son (our nephew) off the streets and safe. Now he’s getting the treatment and support he needs. BCSS understands the strain this illness can put on parents and families. “BCSS offers programs that teach about treatment and successful coping strategies. These help our family talk openly about mental illness and find real solutions.
