Founded in 2000, the Legacy of Hope Foundation is an Indigenous-led national charity dedicated to educating Canadians about the history and ongoing impacts of the Residential School System and the Sixties Scoop. Through educational resources, exhibitions, and public awareness campaigns, the organization aims to foster Reconciliation, promote healing among Survivors and their communities, and integrate Indigenous perspectives into school curricula. By highlighting the resilience and contributions of Indigenous peoples, Legacy of Hope works to build understanding, respect, and equality across Canada.
