Jonas TV & Appliances was founded in 1955 by Roland & Barbara Jonas at 230 Water Street North in Cambridge (Galt), next door to the impressive Galt Collegiate Institute . Initially, Roland focused on servicing televisions and installing antennas and used a station wagon as the company vehicle. The business began selling televisions and soon expanded to selling appliances. They established a reputation for outstanding customer service that still remains today. Never wanting to be too far from their customers, the family home was attached to the side of the store until 1968. Several additions to their property since then have created a most unique selling environment. All four of the couple's children worked in the store over the years. Oldest son, Peter Jonas, who began working at the store part-time after high school, decided to make the family business a career and took over operations in 1981. Peter and his wife, Susan, continue to run the store today, along with an amazing sales and service team, and are dedicated to keeping Roland & Barbara's legacy of exceptional customer service alive.

Warranty Programs Most of the products we sell at Jonas TV & Appliances come with a standard 1 year Parts & Labour through the manufacturer. A variety of additional warranty programs are available.
