A lot of people function hour after hour, day after day using only their limbic brain (the stress center). We focus on getting to work, paying bills, feeding our children, meeting deadlines, without engaging the upper cortical brain where we process life meaning and experience fulfillment. My background & credentials include: I am also a mother of two children "“ one a securities lawyer at McCullough O'Connor Irwin LLP, the other a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young Vancouver. Having been in a marriage of 20 years, and recently re-married Joe Weiler, our family has grown with two more, one attending UBC law & the other an administrative assistant. My husband Joe Weiler is a Law Professor at UBC, advisor to one of the Olympic Sponsors for the 2010 games, and my partner in Therahealth Network. Over the process of my academic, clinical and personal experiences, I have developed an interest in helping families grow in a direction of their choosing.
