In our opinion, a management system consultant must be screened through the following criteria prior to being retained.

Why get registered to ISO/OSHA management system? ISO /OSHA management system standards create a level playing field for business organizations irrespective of their global location. Having registered to ISO/OSHA management system standards provides a level of confidence for a prospective client that service/product provider, as a minimum, has a independently registered system in place to provide services and products that meet customer and legal requirements.

ISO 9001 Compliance Example-An auditor might write “The concrete products were found to be noncompliant with section 6.5 of CSA Standard A 23.1 due to inadequate and incomplete testing apparatus which required heating the product at a temperature of 50F per hour for 8 hours.” The auditor may not be competent to make these qualified statements. Instead, the auditor should state that the process to ensure compliance of the product with CSA Standard A 23.1 is inadequate and ineffective.
