Our radio division specializes in two-way radios for application in land mobile, marine, and aviation environments.� �We are a registered Icom dealer, authorized to sell, rent, and repair all Icom radio products but we also have a large inventory of Motorola radios available for rent on a short or long term basis.

We provide a diverse range of communications and IT services to an equally diverse range of industries and customers. Whether you need a comprehensive package of two-way radios and portable repeaters for a mountain-top film shoot or an integrated phone and data service package for a downtown office, we can design and maintain a secure communications solution that will meet your needs.

We work closely with film crews in British Columbia and have a clear understanding of the communication and data management services they require on set, on location, and in their production offices. Our radio services include Motorola and Icom set radios plus an extensive Trunked Radio Network specifically designed for film units shooting in the Lower Mainland and beyond. This network now extends radio coverage to Richmond, Tsawwassen, Ladner, Delta, and Langley.

Signal Systems is a member of the McLean Group, a second-generation family business founded in 1972. In addition to Signal Systems, the McLean Group owns and operates Vancouver Film Studios, Pacific Backlot Services, Harbour Landing Construction, and Blanca Realty. In partnership with John Morris, the McLean Group also owns and operates Blackcomb Aviation, a helicopter and jet charter company.

Signal was established in 2005 to provide communications services to Vancouver Film Studios customers but today serves a wide variety of business organizations operating throughout the Lower Mainland and southwestern British Columbia.
