Institute On Governance

Description

The Institute On Governance (IOG) is a non-profit think tank founded in 1990 and based in Ottawa, Canada. We explore, share and promote responsible and responsive governance in Canada and abroad, and help governments, voluntary organizations, private and public sectors, and civil society put it into practice. To these ends, the IOG works in Canada and abroad undertaking research, sharing the results through professional development, conferences, seminars and publications, and providing advisory services to organizations, communities and governments. The IOG’s current interests include work related to Aboriginal governance; technology and governance; board governance; building policy capacity; social development, leadership and change management, democratic reform and citizen engagement; voluntary sector governance; health and governance; accountability and performance measurement; and environmental governance.
