We provide specifications that form a legal contract document outlining the scope of work on a painting or waterproofing project. The specified bid information is based on industry standards and site specific details. We recommend specific qualified applicators with a proven track record. Inspec provides their clients with an "apples to apples" tender for the contractors to bid on. The coating inspector is a quality assurance person whose job it is to ensure that all aspects of the coating job are handled according to the written specifications. Essentially, the inspector is a third party observer who understands all aspects of the job. His role is to ensure that the job is done in a specified manner with the specified material by the proper procedure. In addition to traditional coating inspection duties, the Inspec Technical representative can offer expert consultation on matters above and beyond the normal duties of the inspector. These include specification development and review, laboratory testing of coatings, on site QC testing, assistance with material selection and corrosion surveys.
