Ingersoll Fasteners began producing fasteners in Ingersoll in 1887 under the name of the Morrow Screw and Nut Co. Ltd. The company was purchased by the Ivaco Corporation in the late 1960's, and moved to it's present facility in the early 1970's. Since the move, the plant has undergone 3 major expansions which has brought the current size to 230,000 square feet, with 225 employees. Our employees have an average of 19 years experience in fastener manufacturing. Production equipment consists of 24 primary manufacturing machines and 3 secondary machining departments. Product is heat-treated in house on 5 continuous belt furnaces. Quality Assurance/ Inspection is equipped with computerized visual inspection machinery as well as computerized Laser/Eddy current inspection equipment. Plating, special coatings and patches are sourced to certified and approved sub-contractors. We are certified to QS-9000, ISO 9002 and ISO 14001.Our laboratory is NVLAP accredited...
