Quality drainage tubing is the product of good raw materials,
efficient production methods and conscientious production staff.
At Ideal Drain Tile, these ingredients are maintained at highlevels to ensure the product is first class -- with noexceptions. Plastic tubing is extruded, corrugated, perforatedand coiled with modern equipment at Ideal's plants in Arva and
Blenheim, Ontario where drainage tubing is produced from 4" to
12" inches in diameter. Quality control procedures to check alltubing produced at Ideal Drain Tile are approved by the Ontario
Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Head office is maintained in Arva and Ideal Drain Tile haslocations in Clinton, Blenheim, St. Thomas and in Stratford underthe name "Just Pipe". This business is owned and operated by
Jerry and Bev Clarke.

Tile drainage offers many advantages such as early drying ofsoils, allowing earlier spring tillage and more timely planting.
At harvest time, combines can work longer hours if the weatherhas been poor. It takes less fuel to plough, cultivate andharvest in good soil conditions. Good systematic tile drainagewill improve the soil environment for microbial activity,
encourage good root development and make more useful moistureavailable to plants. The result is greater yield of healthiercrops. The advantages of good soil do not stop with reduced soilcompaction and degradation. Field efficiencies of combines andtractors are improved and there is less damage from mud andmachine abuse from being stuck.

As well as drainage tubing, Ideal Drain Tile supplies a completerange of drainage fittings, including couplers, elbows, tees andreducers as well as filter envelopes for fine sands and siltysoils.

Surface inlets are perfect for preventing ponding and stoppingerosion at ditchbanks and low-spots in fields. Ideal Drain Tilehas a heavy duty corrugated pipe inlet which is bright red forvisibility in the field. Inlets come complete with fittings.
Ideal Drain Tile also manufactures their own line of smooth wallpolyethylene heavy duty culvert pipe for municipal drains etc.
