Established in 1989, ITR Laboratories is one of the newercontract research laboratories in North America and hassuccessfully conducted a significant number of preclinicalstudies.

The ITR studies are fully GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
compliant with protocols designed to allow our clients to meetthe specific regulatory requirements where the products are tobe marketed.

ITR conducts general toxicology, intravenous infusion,
interaction studies, cardiovascular profiling/safety studiesand ADME studies with or without radiolabelled substances
(pharmacokinetics, excretion and mass balance, autoradiographyanalysis, quantitative and qualitative tissue distribution).
ITR conducts preclinical studies in rodents, dogs and primates.

ITR has assembled a staff of professionals, technicians andscientists, with direct long term experience in toxicologicalassessments. The company has grown steadily with clientsthroughout North America, Europe and Japan.

The present facility (19 animal rooms) is equipped to undertakea wide range of toxicity studies with a particular expertise inintravenous infusion (some of ITR's personnel have over thenyears experience in this area).

The modern facilities include surgical and cardiac profilingunits, as well as a fully integrated toxicology and pathologylaboratory.

The laboratory has been inspected and approved by AAALAC,
CCAC and the FDA. The entire facility is purpose-built andstate-of-the-art.
