Description

Mr. Vathje is the Vice President Human Resources of Western. Jeff is an established senior Human Resources Services professional with extensive experience in the corporate and consulting worlds. He has over 25 years of senior management and HR experience in the total rewards, HRIS, payroll, and pension domain. He has worked as a senior leader with major corporations such as Enerplus, EnCana, Agrium, and the Canadian Wheat Board. He also has over 10 years of HR consulting experience with Mercer and Aon Hewitt.

Mr. Mathison is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Matco Investments Ltd. and Matco Capital Ltd., private investment firms which specialize in providing capital and management expertise to companies in which they have an interest. Mr. Mathison has extensive experience in restructuring and financing corporations in both the public and private markets and is founder and Chairman of Calfrac Well Services Ltd. and Tesla Exploration Ltd. Until 2000, Mr. Mathison was a director and principal of Peters & Co. Limited, an investment firm specializing in the oil and natural gas industry.

Mr. Bowers is a Chartered Accountant and has over 22 years of financial experience in the oilfield services industry domestically and internationally. Since April 2008, Mr. Bowers held the position of Vice President Finance and CFO with Horizon Drilling Inc. Previously, Mr. Bowers was the Chief Financial Officer at FracSource Inc. prior to its divestiture in 2008. Prior to that he was employed at Precision Drilling Corporation for five years, initially with Computalog Ltd. followed by three years as Group Controller, Canada for Precision Energy Services.

Mr. Alford is an independent businessman. Most recently, he was the President and CEO of IROC Energy Services Corp. from 2001 until its acquisition by Western Energy Services Corp. on April 23, 2013. Prior thereto Mr. Alford was the President and CEO of Bonus Resource Services Corp. from December 1997 to October 2000. Mr. Alford has over 34 years of experience in the oil and gas service industry. Mr. Alford received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1980. Mr. Alford joined the Board of Directors of Western Energy Services Corp. in July 2013.

Eagle Well Servicing operates a newly built fleet of 65 mobile internally guyed single, double and slant service rigs from operations centres in Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Lloydminster and Estevan. From these operation bases, the reach of our rigs expands into all key Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin Oil and Gas plays. Our goal is to provide the best in the industry by deploying one of the newest lines of equipment in Western Canada.
