To put this into context, approximately 3 per cent of our customers have received estimated bills for too long and about another 2 per cent have gone for more than 90 days without receiving a bill. While the vast majority of our customers continue to receive normal bills, some of our customers have not had a positive experience.

Hydro One is committed to providing accessible quality service to all members of the public it serves .

Meters are 100% inspected by the manufacturer, sample tested by the manufacturer before shipping, have Measurement Canada approval as tested accurate, then secondary tests are completed by Hydro One as they arrive from the manufacturer and then again we have sample testing of meters once they are ‘in service’.

Accuracy of information You have an obligation to provide us with information that is true, complete and correct. The information is used to provide customer service, deliver and/or supply electricity and manage customer accounts. We may verify the accuracy of all information provided. We reserve the right to disconnect service to your property if we're unable to establish your identity.

A lot of our customers are seeing the same thing with the cold winter. On average, our customers used 20% more electricity during this winter.
