Description
Mr. Chauvin brings more than 40 years of combined experience in mining operations and construction management. Of particular note, he participated in the development of the Isle-Dieu in Matagami, Quebec for Noranda Mines Inc, which required the sinking of production and exploration shafts, as well as the development and definition of the underground operation. Mr. Chauvin is currently employed as an interim President & CEO of PC Gold Inc, and sits on the Boards of PC Golds Inc, Macusani Yellocake Inc., Lakeside Minerals Inc., and Andean American Gold.
Guyana, officially the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, is a sovereign state on the northern coast of South America. Guyana was originally colonized by the Netherlands, however later became a British colony and remained so for over 200 years until it achieved independence on May 26, 1966 from the United Kingdom. On February 23, 1970, Guyana officially became a republic. Guyana is a member state of the Commonwealth of Nations and is the only South American nation whose official language is English.
Mr. Ferry is an independent businessman who has worked in the investment industry for over 28 years as a mining analyst and a mining corporate finance specialist. Prior to that, he worked as a geologist.
Mr. Marion has over 25 years of diversified management and senior technical experience with resource industry expertise in operations, mineral exploration, and mine development, along with a successful history of corporate development. Mr. Marion was most recently President, CEO and Director of AuRico Gold Inc. ("AuRico") from 2007 to 2012, where he oversaw the acquisition and development of AuRico's flagship Young-Davidson Mine.
Mr. Huppman has over 25 years of experience in applied sustainability consulting, particularly related to major international project development and finance, including corporate and project environmental and social policies and management systems. He has worked as a consultant to major mining companies on projects in Latin America, SE Asia and Africa. Mr. Huppman also worked as an environmental specialist for the World Bank in the former Soviet Union and was seconded for two years to the International Finance Corporation ("IFC") where he worked as an environmental specialist.
