Description
The HCMC was originally founded in April 1980 at the Anson Hinden and Minden Township Gravel Pit. The club operated in that location until 1982. Pending the establishment of a new site, various members remitted their dues in order to retain our club status. In 1985, a re-zoning of the current location was approved and the club leased the property until 1992. This site consisted of approximately 2 acres and was approved by the C.F.O. in October of 1985. Shooting disciplines at the time were Rimfire and Centrefire rifle, single stage shotgun (sporting clays) and Rimfire and Centrefire Bullseye (Handgun). In 1986 one of our members donated a tractor trailer to the club which is used to store our clubl plates, bowling pins, chairs, etc. In 1990 the process was begun to acquire the property being leased from the Township of Lutterworth.
