Gulf Islands Online is a division of Driftwood Publishing Ltd. of Salt Spring Island, B.C., publishers of the the Gulf Islands Driftwood community newspaper. Founded in 1960, the Driftwood serves the islands of Salt Spring, Galiano, Mayne, Pender and Saturna, an area noted for its pleasant climate, beautiful scenery and interesting people. A paid-circulation weekly newspaper, the Driftwood strives every week to present an accurate and interesting reflection of community affairs and a forum for public opinion.
