Green Kids is the only theatre group in Canada dedicated solely to environmental education for young people. Our Vision: Children Changing the World. Our Mission: To Educate Children and Teachers on Environmental Issues and Inspire Them to Take Positive Action Towards Protecting Our Environment. Our Method: Environmental Education in Elementary and Middle Schools Through Live Theatre. Our Guiding Principles: We feel that Green Kids Incorporated is important because we educate the young people who will be running our world in the not too distant future. We teach about the environment and how they can have a positive impact on their future and that of our planet. Here at Green Kids Incorporated we believe that every little bit of help is an invaluable contribution. Our environmental education programs are designed to allow young people to understand that they can and do make a difference. Our Approach:We at Green Kids have always had a positive pro-active approach to environmental issues and to being "Green". We believe that it is the individual's responsibility to make change on this planet. We at Green Kids believe in the power of one and do not support finger pointing and blaming. Scare tactics are not part of the Green Kids message. Although we encourage individual expression and freedom, we as an organization are non political. We do not protest, yet we understand those who do. We try to be balanced in our views, and fair in our handling of issues...
