The store is full of unique handicrafts, jewelery, music, literature, fairly traded and organic food products, home decor, body care, clothing, and more from around the world! Visit us at 912 Rosser avenue in Brandon. Join the Marquis Project. Membership enables you to vote at our annual general meeting. Marquis membership also entitles you to our newsletter, which keeps you current on our overseas development projects, local educational activities, what's going on at the store, and the achievements of our members. Make a tax-deductible donation to support the global and local work of the Marquis Project. Work with Marquis as a volunteer. We are always looking for extra help at off sale sites, speaking engagements, fundraising events, and much more! Stop by the Worldly Goods Shop at 912 Rosser Avenue to fill out a volunteer application. Become a committee member. The Marquis Project would like to invite all interested individuals to get involved in our committees. Committees includes: Programming Committee- Maintains and develops The Marquis Project's overseas development projects, and local educational programs. Fundraising Committee- Plans fundraising activities and events, to raise awareness of The Marquis Project's mandates, while ensuring a steady stream of financial support. Youth Committee- Coordinates youth events around themes of development and world issues, including our annual youth conference YETII (Youth Educating Themselves on International Issues). Store Committee- Provides guidance and support to The Worldly Goods Shop in areas of product selection, marketing, advertising, and staffing.
