Focus on Caring has been providing home care and specialized care to families in the Calgary area since 1994. We provide home support, personal care, light housekeeping and meal preparation with the goal of allowing clients to remain in their homes. The care we provide is individualized to suit the client's needs. An RN completes an assessment to determine the client's required care and with this health and personal information provided by the client, care is arranged in a timely manner. This care can be provided on both a long term and short term basis. Long term care can be in the client's home, senior's facility or institution. This allows the client increased autonomy to continue their life with independence, confidence and peace of mind for all concerned knowing that the client or their loved one is getting the extra care and attention they may need and deserve. Short term care may be provided while a client recuperates in their home as opposed to a hospital setting. In today's market, with the shortage of hospital beds and the need to release patients as soon as possible, the care we provide alleviates the anxiety of needing assistance when one goes home. Personal needs and assistance with the home are met allowing the client to concentrate on their recovery. Certified personal care aides are matched to a client's needs to provide any and all care that is required.
