Not just now but from the very first day of the company's existence. The objectives of flexis AG are based on the following premises: We develop solutions using modern information technology, providing maximum proximity to customer and market. We enable our customers to take advantage of the non interacting benefits of telecommunications and information technology in integrated solutions. The objectives are reflected in all solutions developed by flexis. The key lies in breaking down the software into modular components and basic back-up technology to create individual customized solutions based on standardized modules which are specifically process-oriented. This saves time and money for our customers and guarantees that innovative developments are re-usable to a high degree. Brief history of flexis: flexis came into being in 1997. At the time the founders of the company were working at the Institute for Production Technology and Automation (IPA) at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. When the company was set up, the management and the majority of the staff were already able to look back on large number of innovative industrial projects and had several years of experience in applying and developing planning and optimization solutions.
