Anesthetic services provided are tailored to the patient's needs. The anesthetic technique the patient receives depends on the individual's requirements for comfort; Nitrous Oxide, intravenous conscious sedation, deep sedation, and general anesthesia are available. Patients undergo thorough medical history and physical examination relevant to the anesthetic method to be used before the treatment is scheduled. Patients deemed to be anesthetic risk must be cleared for out-patient anesthesia by a primary care physician in order to receive dental treatment under sedation.
