This year’s IWS Open House events in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver focused on introducing the latest IWS product innovations to key technology, lifestyle and small business media while providing them with the opportunity to meet 1:1 with HP Canada spokespeople. The events continue to drive strong results and in 2009 there was an increase in the number of reporters in attendance, media coverage, as well as audience reach. These positive results can be attributed to including small business focused content that in turn widened the audience for the events, having a French-speaking spokesperson to generate interest for Quebec media and targeting reporters whose articles appear across a variety of publications i.e. CanWest, Metro, SUN Publications.
