Description
The Occupational Health Services provided through Denning Health Group focus on preventing and managing work-related injuries and illness at your place of business. We provide responsive and cost-effective services to employers throughout Surrey and surrounding areas. We also provide treatment and a continuum of services to meet the needs of employers, employees, and insurers.
Denning maintains awareness of the DOT's regulations as well as Canadian Human Rights legislation and Labour Law. We provide expertise to help our corporate clients promote a drug free work environment by assisting them in developing a legally compliant and effective intervention policy. In addition, we train and help our customers administer their policy successfully.
Denning was previously obtaining the services of an MRO through an external source; however, we are pleased to announce that two of our own physicians (Dr. Joseph Yang and Dr. Trevor Wilson of Nordel Crossing Medical Clinic) will now be providing MRO services for our company. They have both received training through the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), and the American Society of Addition Medicine (ASAM) which represents thousands of physicians and other health care professionals specializing in the field of occupational and environmental medicine (OEM).
The physicians employed by Denning Health Group are knowledgeable in Occupational Health Services with years of experience in developing medical surveillance and injury management protocols. In addition, our staff are qualified to assist in the identification of causes of work-related illnesses or injuries at your place of employment, minimizing the likelihood of reoccurence.
A diagnoses will be made by taking a thorough patient history, including information about your symptoms, family history, and both your home and work environments. Your allergist/immunologist will also conduct allergy skin testing and any other needed tests. Combining specific information from your history and tests, the allergist/immunologist will be able to make an accurate diagnosis.
